Re: Question from Anonymous re: Census Application: Google 2010 Census Jobs to find the application and practice test.
I took the test in San Jose,CA on Feb. 18 '09 and got the results back via phone call on Feb 23rd. Finally on Mar 23rd, I got a phone call interview. After answering several questions, the interviewer placed me on hold then came back on line to say I got the job. It wasn't the position I preferred (clerk) but he informed me that Enumerators got paid more. So I accepted the position and got a confirmation no. Training will be on April 3rd for our group. Hopefully everyone will have heard back by now, one way or another. I don't think it's fair for applicants to invest so much time and effort and not told why they didn't make the cut. They could even just remind applicants that their info would be on records for the next round, etc. I would rather get the unpleasant news than kept hanging.
