There are times when things just work out better when you have a system so I’ve decided to write out the process I follow when I am called to perform a loan signing.
- Print the confirmation.
- Call the borrowers to confirm the appointment and inform them that I will need current I.D. to complete the signing. I also leave them my name and number in case of any changes on their end.
- Mapquest directions to the appointment.
- Print documents, if required.
- Print loan doc coversheet for borrowers and lender.
- Arrive at appointment on time.
- Complete signing with borrowers.
- Contact originating company with status and document tracking number.
- Ship documents to lender or title.
10. Log appointment payment and mileage information.
Then I'm ready for my next assignment.
